Producer / Director
Creative P/D specialising in prime-time history and arts docs told with humour and emotion, I deliver high-end, impactful stories that attract and connect with audiences through depth of insight and psychological truth.
Across projects including Shakespeare: Rise of a Genius (BBC) and The Queen’s Lost Family (C4) I’ve secured A-list talent from Helen Mirren to Judi Dench and directed high-profile names including Gordon Brown and Succession star Brian Cox, as well as award-winning writers including: Karl Ove Knausgård, Jeanette Winterson, and Jeremy O. Harris.
I’m skilled at framing questions so contributors engage at the deepest emotional level and pride myself on stylish visuals, shooting on FS7, C300 and 5D. Adept at building relationships, I've successfully negotiated challenging access including previously closed Royal Archives.
Also a short-fiction writer & abridger for Radio 4, I bring a writer’s insight into character, narrative and structure to any project I work on.
